Itinerary:

DAY 1 – ARRIVAL / HELLO CUBA
• Arrive at Havana’s José Martí International Airport. Expedited airport service.
• Transfer to your casa, check-in and enjoy an exchange with the locals.
• Included arrival dinner at the hotel.

DAY 2 – HAVANA
• Breakfast at casa
• Bike tour of modern Havana with Cuban guides (35+ km)
• Afternoon walking tour of Old Havana and exchange with the locals
• Dinner (On your own - guide can suggest eateries)
• Evening highlight: El Cañonazo – the Firing of the 9PM Cannon at the Fortress of San Carlos de la Cabaña. The cannon firing signaled the closing of the city gates for the night.

DAY 3 – HAVANA / VIÑALES
• Breakfast at casa
• Bike or bus transfer to the Western Province on Pinar del Río (50+km)
• Biking tour of Viñales Valley, in the heart of Cuba’s prime tobacco region
• Visit a tobacco plantation and enjoy a fine Cuban cigar
• Walking and boat tour through the Indian’s cave
• Continue to Hotel Rancho San Vicente
• Evening is free to bike and explore the town. (30+ km)

DAY 4 – VIÑALES / CAYO JUTIAS
• Breakfast in casa
• Biking excursion to Cayo Jutías (70+ km - bus optional)
• Return to Viñales (bike/bus) to rest and freshen up.
• Evening is free to meet the locals and explore the town (30+ km)

DAY 5 – VIÑALES / ANCON VALLEY
• Breakfast in casa
• Morning biking tour to Ancón Valley (70+ km)
• Lunch in a local paladar
• Continue to Hotel Rancho San Vicente (optional bus transfer)
DAY 6 – VIÑALES / SOROA
• Breakfast in casa
• Early check out and departure to Soroa
• Bike excursion to Soroa (120+ km w/optional bus transfer)
• Visit to the Soroa Orchid Botanical Garden and Soroa waterfall.
• Lunch in a local paladar
• Check in to local casa
DAY 7 – SOROA / LAS TERRAZAS
• Breakfast in casa
• Bike excursion to Las Terrazas eco-community, a biosphere reserve (30+ km)
• Visit a rural village called Rancho Curujey
• Visit the art studio of a local artist
• Lunch at an open-air restaurant La Casa del Campesino
• Dinner at vegetarian Restaurant Romero
• Evening is free to explore the community and interact with the Cubans

DAY 8 – LAS TERRAZAS / HAVANA
• Breakfast in casa
• Departure to Havana (bike or bus transfer – 100+ km)
• Lunch at local paladar
• Visit to Almacenes de Depósito San José, an arts and crafts market.
• Free afternoon to explore and interact with Cubans
• Farewell dinner at a local paladar
DAY 9 – HAVANA/ HOME
• Breakfast in casa
• Transfer to José Martí International Airport for flights home
